It is my
pleasure to serve the members of DADOA as President again in
2008. A talented
team of volunteers will help run the organization and I would
like to take this opportunity to introduce those committee
chairs and co-chars. Sandi
Rupprecht and Libby Ecord will be putting together
speakers and topics for our upcoming seminar.
Dan Thomas and Robert Caldwell have the
task of securing our luncheon speakers.
Please make them aware of your ideas on what topics you
may want to hear presented this year. Cori
Peth and Shelley McEachern are returning for
another year of providing you with a superior luncheon
experience at Maggiano’s.
As always, let them know of any concerns you may have
during a luncheon. Colleen
Booker will also maintain our database of membership for
another year. She
wants to hear about any changes you may have, especially to
email addresses so that there are no interruptions with our
communications. Mary
Geder, David Peterson, Lynn Schardein and Chris
Anderson will be working together to recharge our on-line
newsletter. They
would welcome your ideas and suggestions.
Also, keep them in mind for special announcements to
the membership, i.e. your promotion or change in job.
Jessica Lambuth will be digitally recording our
events so when you see her, please give her a big smile.
Sharon Siemer and Carla Dickenson are
joining forces to come up with some enticing special events.
Linda Osminer and Julia George work
together on the Employment Committee.
You can view the most recent updates to the Job Bank at
our website under the Members Area.
Linda also works on keeping our website up to date.
I am so
grateful for the volunteers returning from last year and also
our new volunteers. Membership
input is crucial so I encourage you all to seek out any member
of the Board or committee chair at the next luncheon,
introduce yourself and let them know your thoughts on how
DADOA can help you in 2008.
Please look
for announcements of upcoming events on this site. It
will be an exciting year!
